Esteemed Friends and Devotees,

In the immortal words of Swami Vivekananda, “God has incarnated Himself on earth in the present age in the person of Sri Ramakrishna. The universal teachings that he offered, if spread all over the world, will do good to humanity and the world. Not for many a century past has India produced so great, so wonderful, a teacher of religious synthesis.”

Moreover, Swami Vivekananda eloquently articulated, “At the very dawn of this momentous epoch, the reconciliation of all aspects and ideals of religious thought and worship is being proclaimed; this boundless, all-embracing idea had been lying inherent, but so long concealed, in the Religion Eternal and its scriptures, and now rediscovered, it is being declared to humanity in a trumpet voice.”

And the great Swami’s unique message resounds through time: “I am born to proclaim that fearless message — ‘Arise! Awake!’ Be you my helpers in this work!”

Guided by the aforementioned principles and teachings, our Society, which has been a part of the Ramakrishna Order since December 2019, has wholeheartedly dedicated itself to promulgating the all-encompassing message of Vedanta. This message embodies the spirit of religious concord preached by Sri Ramakrishna, the empowering wisdom imparted by Swami Vivekananda, and the boundless love exemplified by Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi. Until now, our Society has operated from the confines of a modest apartment, while our members have tirelessly sought a more befitting and spacious dwelling over many years. It is a widely held belief that for our Society to flourish and thrive, it is imperative that we secure a more commodious and dedicated sanctuary.

We are thrilled to announce that after an extensive search, we have finally discovered a spacious dwelling in a strategically advantageous location. This location ensures enhanced accessibility for our devoted followers journeying from diverse areas of Lower Mainland to visit the Society. The property, situated in North Surrey, a mere five-minute drive from the nearest Metro Station, bears the address 14488 110 AVENUE Surrey, BC V3R 2A5. To secure this haven, we must fulfill a payment of $2.1 million, with the final installment anticipated at the close of November. God willing, we expect to take possession on December 3.

At this juncture, we extend a heartfelt invitation to our cherished well-wishers who may have previously been constrained by geographical distance. We earnestly beseech your presence as frequently as your heart desires once we have embarked upon this new chapter. We shall keep all informed of developments through electronic correspondence. Those inspired to contribute financially are most welcome to do so.
